Submissions that are accepted are sometimes modified by our moderators before being accepted to ensure proper spelling, punctuation, quality, accuracy, and coherency. Occassionaly some suggested wrong answers are completely replaced by more difficult wrong answers to make questions less easy to guess correctly. You may notice your submission in quiz questions may not be exactly what you submitted, but you will stil receive full credit for submissions that turn into questions, even if only loosely based on your submission. Submissions that are too similar or are duplicates to existing questions will, of course, be denied.

 

Submissions do not become active on the site as questions until a moderator has approved them. Submissions are accepted in order of which they are received, and high volume of submissions may sometimes cause several days to pass before your submission is approved or denied. You will be notified by "Private Message" once your submission has been approved or denied. As soon as submissions are accepted, the user that submitted them will receive additional points on their account as receiving credit for submissions. We do not gaurantee that we will be able to filter 100% of submissions to be 100% accurate, 100% of the time, but we will do our best.

 

 

These quizzes are moderated only after they have becoming publicly active on the site. This type of moderation is "blind" in that once the quiz is approved, nothing changes. If denied, it is removed from the site and the user who created it will receive a warning via private message and/or the user may be deleted if the reason behind being denied is bad enough.

 

Reasons for a quiz being denied are as follows:

- Profane language, curse words, racist comments, etc. These are strictly against the rules.

- Not using the quiz system appropriately, such as submitting non-quiz material such as a story or spam of some sort

- Inserting http:// urls into the quiz texts, no exceptions

 

 

 

 

- You will not use profane language anywhere on the site, no exceptions.

- You are over or exactly 13 years of age.

- You will not cheat or try to find ways to cheat.

- You will not submit questions which you know to be faulty or incorrect.

- You will play fair.

- You will have fun.

 

Profane language includes but is not limited to: swear words, racist comments, or any sort of language that would likely offend someone if they read it. There are no exceptions. These rules apply to to the forums as well.

 

If you are younger than 13 years of age, you must have a parent or guardian with you while you use our website. Some content on this website, especially quizzes whose authors have filed them under the rating of "Mature Content", may not be suitable for children.

 

Cheating includes using any exploits, reverse engineering, or cross site scripting, any hacking of our methods of posting data, or any other way to alter content on this site by means other than the forms we readily provide registered users.

 

All of our decisions are final regarding anything that requires our decision, such as moderating content and user account names, and we reserve the right to deny any quiz question or quiz material of any sort, per our approval process. We reserve the right to ban or delete any user or user submitted content for any reason.

 

We reserve the right to send any emails to you, to the email adress you provide upon registration, to inform you of Triviad events or major news about the site.
